Locker Decorations
Harambe, metal counts, American pride, and class colors were the hallway themes last week during homecoming thanks to locker decorations.
Spirit is always high on monday when students get to see what the locker bays look like. Ms. Willert, the student council advisor, says, “It is a great way to kick off the week and display school spirit.” Willert also ‘loves the color and festivity that it brings to the school all week long.’
Participants put lots of effort into the locker decorations. 15-40 students per class helped turn their locker bays into a conversation topic this year. Everyone who decorates brings in supplies, makes a plan, and then gets to work brightening the hallways. Willert says that those who attend locker decorating always have a good time and that locker decorating is “a fun way to come together for the start of Homecoming week.”

Locker Organization
Hey BBB readers,
This post is all about locker organization, decorating it to suit your personality and organizing shelves.
The first thing you should worry about when decorating your locker is that you have enough space for all your books and a gym bag. You shouldn’t go crazy on all the decorations then realize your math binder doesn’t fit in, for example. Make sure you have a sturdy organization system (we both have Locker Bones, either in plastic or wood) that won’t collapse. You can get these shelves in many colors shapes and sizes at most stores. You can decorate your locker so many ways (we will be posting photo collages of different styles) but there are some things you might want for in there: First of all, a mirror. A dry erase board for notes. Extra pens and pencils in a little magnetic bin. We’ll be posting the collages soon.
