He had been hired to investigate a 'creature' being seen around the area. Though most descriptions of this creature had seemed to be either describing several creatures that were seen, or were too vague to be anything outside of maybe a mangy or even sickly bear that was being weird. As an investigator though, he wasn't going to turn away the money that was offered to him recently to investigate the area. So here he was, standing in the woods, lost. Crossing, he frowned, sitting on the ground as he was figuring out what he should do.
Though when he heard an unfamiliar, but very human voice, one that to him, sounded like someone who might not want to kill him, he hoped anyway. Turning his head he pointed it in the direction where the voice had come from "Yeah, I'm not sure anyone would. You from the nearby- uh, village? I'm kind of lost." Which was certainly quite a position for him to get into, seeing as most people would think that he shouldn't be alone, especially in the woods, with his condition. But he wasn't going to let it dictate him. However, now seemed to be just the situation they were worried about.
