Rings and necklaces never really had much of a scent, which could...definitely be harder to find. So finding the thief was all Beast Boy could think of.

"Is there ANY chance you know who STOLE IT? Or if you don't, the SPOT where your ring was taken?" BB wasn't great at detective work, but he'd watched Robin solve cases countless times and picked up on a few things.

"I can sniff around there with you if you wanna!! I can go into total bloodhound mode!" His palms hit the ground and legs evened out until he was quadrupedal, tail wagging proudly.

Jacky's heart about pounded right out of his chest when the Lupine King showed up at his front door. It was pouring rain in Beacon Hills, and Jacky was just about to settle down for the evening - already wearing one of his hoodies and sweatpants for bed - when he heard the knocking. Catching a scent outside was a bit harder for him when it was raining.

"Caspian, what the hell-- get in here!" Jacky didn't hesitate, guiding the king inside and helping him pull his shoes off. "Wait right here, I'm getting you a towel." Jacky instructed, even stopping and turning his head to make sure he was staying. He returned a few moments later with a couple of towels. "What the hell's going on here?"
