And yeah I think hating on Dragon Age Inquisition because of DA2 and ME3 is really immature because like.. do they honestly think Bioware isn't aware of the bad reception those games got??? That they'll do the same mistakes over again??? Like, if they hate on it for just that... then they're probably not old enough to play this game. And if they hate because of homosexual representation... then they can go duck themselves with a cactus

You don't have to run away haha. c: I'm not really that worried though? Perhaps I should be. I don't know if the race gating thing means completely NO WON'T DO or what I hope it means, which is 'this romance is going to have a whooole lot of hurdles to jump over'. That would be far more interesting.

Considering that the tevinter imperium and the qunari are hostile (from what I understand), I'd be a little more concerned with that. :c Though I certainly hope he's not race gated for anyone

It would make sense for Varric to only be romanceable by female dwarves at least, but for new companions…looks like some inquisitors are going to be unhappy.

It's not the preferences that I have issue with. Usually, when people don't date a certain race, when asked why it's very difficult not to come off as racist or problematic. If someone says, "I dont date asians' and then you ask why? Well, it's hard not to say like, "I don't like the way they look" "Why??" "Uh.....um...well...I don't?" And it just can get dicey.

And Bioware?

Yeah, like they know how to handle anything in a classy manner.
