Hello there! Can you tell me more about your being a construct? We may be fascinated to learn.
To begin, the simplest but most unclear explanation is this: a Construct is an empty space filled with only purpose.
A construct can take any form, and quite often they will initially believe themselves to be whatever form they have found themselves in. This is because the construct will share many physical and spiritual traits with their initial assumed reality; It is only once the discrepancies mount that they may realize what they truly are.
Our primary discrepancy, for example, is our inability to attain Stillness. It is impossible for us to completely empty ourselves and revel in such emptiness because to do so would undermine our purpose: counseling and guiding the wayward to divinity.
While we have heard of dolls who serve a grander purpose instead of a witch, these references are scattered and rare and we have yet to bear witness to such creatures. We've seen many feral dolls, but they lack any purpose and are rarely feral by choice. We must also acknowledge dolls who find purpose in serving those around themselves rather than a singular mistress, the Scrap Doll we occasionally reference is one such doll, but these Dolls are all subservient to the whims of those around them.
Perhaps the defining feature of a Construct is they serve only their purpose, they are beholden to no mortal and no other creature of Empty Spaces. Constructs are beings of singular motive and will, driven only to fulfill their mandate, and are not servants...not willingly, anyway.
We hope this answer is useful to you, Loddfafnir
