Safari Tent Interior – Barefoot Luxury Lodge A six-star barefoot luxury safari lodge interior in the Western Cape. Private spa tent suites with outdoor bathtub, natural materials, and layered lighting — fully visualized with SketchUp and V-Ray. interior visualization / exterior visualization The concept merges the philosophy of barefoot luxury with the sensibility of a six-star retreat. Each tent was designed as a self-contained spa suite — featuring a private wet lounge, outdoor bathtub, and decked relaxation area overlooking the savanna. The interior embraces natural textures such as raw timber, canvas, stone, and bronze, celebrating local craftsmanship while maintaining an atmosphere of calm sophistication. The goal was to let luxury feel effortless — authentic, grounded, and deeply connected to nature. The objective was to elevate the client’s existing architectural layout into a cohesive, award-level interior design package, including fine-tuned plans, 3D visualizations, and curated FF&E documentation. The primary design challenges were: 1. Integrating spa-grade wet areas within a tent structure while respecting waterproofing, drainage, and ventilation requirements. 2. Ensuring thermal comfort and durability in a semi-open, high-humidity environment. 3. Defining mood and lighting layers for both day and night ambience — balancing intimacy and openness. — Das Konzept verbindet die Philosophie des „Barefoot Luxury" mit der Sensibilität eines Sechsterne-Retreats. Jedes Zelt wurde als autarke Spa-Suite konzipiert — mit privatem Wet Lounge, Außenbadewanne und einer Terrassenzone mit Blick auf die Savanne. Der Innenraum nimmt natürliche Texturen wie Rohholz, Canvas, Stein und Bronze auf und zelebriert lokales Handwerk bei gleichzeitig ruhiger und kultivierter Atmosphäre. Ziel war es, Luxus mühelos wirken zu lassen — authentisch, geerdet und tief mit der Natur verbunden. Zielsetzung / Problemstellung Das Ziel war es, das bestehende Architekturlayout des Bauherrn in ein stimmiges Innendesignpaket auf Auszeichnungsniveau zu überführen — einschließlich präzisierter Pläne, dreidimensionaler Visualisierungen und kuratierter FF&E-Dokumentation.
