In the first (from Generations: Wolverine and All-New Wolverine), they are both curled on the floor engulfed in flame, and Logan has his arms around Laura, taking the brunt of the explosion. In the second panel (from X-Men: The Trial of Magneto #1), Logan has his armed spanned and teeth bared as he takes numerous metal spikes to the back, and Laura flinches back, also with her teeth bared but unharmed. Next to them is white lettering that reads: “No. It wasn’t.” /end id]

i’ve been reading the X-23 comics and as much as i love them, i hate that Laura is drawn like a twenty year old woman when she is fourteen/fifteen. so i’m doing panel redraws! this is from the fight in Target X #6 and i swapped Logan and Laura’s places
