My first post on Tumblr! This is my latest doll sculpt, I have yet to name her~

So my B grade heads from Logandolls finally arrived and to appologise for how long it took (I lost count but like.. 8 or 9 months?) he threw in this pumpkin guy.

I knew I had a body that would work, my old 1/4 Hujoo who's head is just a bit too goofy for me to do much with. So off his head popped and on this big ol' pumpkin went.

All the heads needed work, they're unfinished B grades so there's air bubbles, there's gates, there's residual pieces of resin that need removing. But I actually left the resin in the eyes because I like how they look and when light shines through them they look really cool.

I was gonna put a tealight in his head but the ones we have don't quite fit, they're too tall. I'll have to find something smaller that I can stick in there.

I painted the inside of the head in Black 3.0 which is very very matte and creates a pretty cool effect with such an open mouth.

I didn't want to overwork this guy because at the end of the day, he IS a pumpkin head, he doesn't NEED a lot of detail.

Also I haven't actually painted a bjd in months.

I am pretty pleased with him though. The pumpkin itself is quite effective with just this little green and brown shading and I think that with a little light in there to flicker away, he'll look fucking awesome.

The other two heads have been sanded as best I can, but I don't have bodies they'll fit on yet and they're on the bottom of my list of "heads waiting for bodies" as i'm trying to get the ones who've been waiting longest sorted first.

but once the weather warms up a bit, it'll be nice to have a few heads to paint.

One last picture of my guy. His name, according to the inside of his head is "jack o leary"

Managed to get Thistle all sanded and strung in the space of the Lord of the Rings extended edition Two Towers and Return of the King. I haven't finalized the tension on their vertical elastic since I'm not sure if I still want to do more intricate body blushing but for now I'm absolutely amazed at how well they pose and how stinkin' cute they are!

My newest doll. I got her awhile back. I still need to decide on her name and get her a faceup. I might get her a new wig, I feel like I did a bad job braiding it so far - I think I made them too tight? And/or the braids are too light. I didn’t realize when I started braiding the wig that there was “fluff” layers of very short hair intermixed in the curls 🥲 It made it hard to get the little I braided done. #bjd #balljointeddoll #logandolls #logandollsalder #LDolls #ldalder #resinsouldarktan

So this one has been an on and off project for me

I've always wanted a bunny bjd, and when @logan.dolls released a new sculpt called sphynx with optional bunny ears, I was stoked😍😍

So now I have her head (too poor to buy the full body😭😭)

Since coloured doll bodies are a custom job or expensive

I wanted to print her body

So I bought the body from @dxgirlydesigns on cults

I love her designs and it looks good woth the sphynx head

But my computer and program was having a fit trying to even render these files (my computer and software was only reacting on the slim files, other files from her work great 👍)

But I brute forced the files to work....but the resin I used was too pale so I coloured the body with spray paint and varish so here we r

Next step is body blushing
