Theater brings people together, when you go, you invite your friends or family members. There will never be two shows that are alike. Even if it is the same play, the actors make it feel different with their reactions and emotions. Performances make you feel things like love, strength, sadness and determination. They make us feel like we are a part of the story. They bring us in with their journey. Here are a few theaters you can attend.
The Utah Theater

Home to the Utah Festival Conservatory of the Performing Arts.This theater is the venue for theatrical and musical productions and classical movies. They like to show movies related to holidays, and other times it just a classic movies. For October, they will be having Halloween movies like Beetlejuice, The Quiet Place, and Hocus Pocus to name a few. Love the remodeling they have done to the building. Go check it out, watch a movie or a play. Enjoy it.
Ellen Eccles Theater

Known as the “Capitol Theater,” it provides a broad spectrum of performing arts. The atmosphere feels like magic, it is intimate, and has flawless acoustics bouncing off the walls. The look of the place has some neoclassical architecture making it look classical. Some shows that they are showing this year are: Camelot, The Nutcracker, Finding Neverland, Bar J Wranglers Christmas and much more. The theater is amazing and it gave me chills when I came to see Les Miserables. Would love for everyone to experience this. So, see you for the “Dracula” play. ;)
Morgan Theater

Mostly used for plays, small concerts and performances, the Morgan Theater is the main performance venue for the Utah State University Department of Theater Arts. The USU Band and orchestra perform in this theater often. These students are amazing, be sure to go listen to them soon. Other groups like the drama club perform here as well. This years performances include: Xanadu, Big Band, Utah Symphony, Light Up the Sky, and Christmas with the American Festival Chorus & Orchestra.
