Vegan desserts?

Trying to find a vegan dessert recipe that taste good and doesn't include chocolate is apparently impossible. (Okay, it's actually just a bit hard.) Because I guess killing animals is real real bad but child slaves are okay? For real, if you're ethically opposed to killing animals shouldn't chocolate and coffee and palm oil all be off the menu for similar reasons?

Has anyone else noticed how much the GOP position on Obamacare resembles the classic borscht belt joke about the two ladies at a Catskills resort? Lady #1: 'The food here is so terrible, it’s inedible!' Lady #2: 'And the portions are so small!' Republican #1: 'Obamacare is slavery!' Republican #2: 'And it’s so hard to sign up!'
