I'm so excited for this arc, can't wait to see 17 back in action!

I was literally not even expecting it, I wanted it so bad but I didn’t think they would go there, even with all the screentime Juuhachigou’s been getting and me being like, “but wHAT ABOUT BRO?” I’m also just so happy to hear  Shigeru Nakahara’s voice again, he does good work.

That’s a good idea. Idunno why I didn’t make this tea before, I have two huge things of turmeric powder that I’m always trying to put in my food/smoothies to help with the pain and circulation problems and I have ginger tea every day anyway but not this strong. But in tea it’s even better. So warm and comforting, helps with so many things.

siding with the templars is a VERY morally grey choice. it’s literally siding with the oppressors.

however, Bioware LOVES the “oppressed group is too vocal about their oppression and then does something too radical and now you shouldn’t like them anymore!” trope, which is why siding with the mages is also presented as a morally grey decision. (why do you think they had Anders act all secretive and then blow up the chantry for apparently no reason? why do you think Urdnot Wrex said it was partially the krogan’s fault that the council races unleashed the genophage on them?) but the fact of the matter is, mages are oppressed in every single society in Thedas. if they’re not treated like prisoner 24601 in Ferelden or Orlais or the Free Marches, they’re treated like caged animals in Seheron and Par Vollen or lower class citizens in Tevinter.

(yeah the thing about Tevinter is if you’re not a magister your life is shit. doesn’t matter if you’re a mage or not.)

their lore suggests that mages should garner sympathy from the players at every turn, but the narrative refuses to make that the case.
