I really don't get why some people think that everything is cheaper ABROAD. It's really not. When you convert the price, maybe it's a little cheap. But depending where you're from like for example, in the UK, pounds is EXPENSIVE.
I have a story for you guys. Someone we know saw my brother's post on IG story. Adidas boost from £90+ down to £63 pounds. If you convert £63 to PH Pesos it's 4,000+. For the person who saw that post, it's cheap. And again, it's really NOT! When you work and earn decent money, yes maybe it's a good bargain. But it doesn't mean that everything here is cheap. £63 is still expensive here. And my brother bought it for my dad for his birthday which was in June. So my brother waited 2 months to get it.
Also, 2 months ago, I got a message from this person asking for the cost of one camera lens. I told him the price and he goes 'Oh, I thought it will be cheaper' and I was like 'you're kidding right'.
And because of my brother’s post, someone else messaged my dad to get them shoes either chucks or under armour brand and it has to be white! Like seriously. I told my dad to tell them that:
Number 1, it's more expensive here
Number 2, anything white is hard to find on SALE.
Number 3, it's like a week before we go on holiday. There's literally no more space in our luggage.
It's annoying because knowing this person, I know she'll end up saying that my Dad is 'kuripot or madamot'.
That is not the case!!
My Dad works so damn hard! I hate people who take advantage and they’ll criticise you when they don't get what they want.
Hay nako.
We're not rich. We just work really hard to earn our money. We save. That's why we can afford to buy stuff every now and then. And only when it's necessary.
Do they even want to see us or the pasalubong?

1am thoughts - Answered prayer!
Answered Prayer #1 This week has been tough. But today, I finally spoke to the person who has been treating me like crap. It was too much that I finally broke down. I gave up. I couldn't take it anymore. At first, she didn't listen as expected. We argued for a good 10 mins and it got to the point where I cried (sobbing type) so hard that I started shouting. She went too far and it was hard because it seems like she still didn't get why (in her words) "I was being dramatic". So I had to do something just to prove my point. And thank God, this person realised that her behaviour and attitude is too much for me to handle. Whether you're over 25 or whatever, if something hurts you, it's OKAY to cry! So remember please to think before you speak!! Words can be hurtful! Anyway, long story short she finally APOLOGISED! Thank you God! Answered prayer #2 I haven't talked about this yet but 2 months ago, I found a bump on the lower right back of my neck. I had a similar problem 9 years ago so I thought a simple antibiotics would work. I was wrong. 2 weeks after the medication, it's still there. And it started to feel and look more like a LUMP. I was terrified. Worst of all, I googled it and of course I got scared even more! My Mum from the beginning told me that it isn't a LUMP. She said that I may have been bitten by something when we went glamping. I don't know. It didn't hurt but fast forward to this week, it started to get irritating and uncomfortable. So, I called my GP again. But then my GP isn't in today and blah blah blah so I was like okay, I'll see him on Monday. So I started to get worried again then the argument started but an answered prayer happened. So I didn't expect to get another answered prayer today. This may sound disgusting. Well, actually it is. I asked my Mum to check it again and she said "There's puss! There's puss!" And I started to panic! And she basically said that there's puss which means that the bump is an infection because the more she squeezed the bump, the more puss came out. (Sorry, disgusting I know). But yea, she said the bump will subside soon! So yea, thank God for another answered prayer! BTW, my mum's a nurse so she knows. 🙈 What a week.

Growing up, I was into pop and dance music. But it all changed when I first heard their song ‘In the End’ when I was 9 years old. I started liking rock bands because of them. Linkin Park had such a huge part of my late childhood and teenage years! There’s something about their music, especially Chester’s voice that spoke to me. Thank you for helping me get through the dark times. Thank you for being an inspiration. You will be missed!

How to deal with someone who has menopausal mood swings?
Someone from my family turned 50 this year and I swear it’s going to be the death of me! I’m having a difficult time dealing with it! One minute she’s happy and then one minute she’s mad! Like crazy AS F***! The worse thing is that she takes her anger out on me! And when I get upset she says “Ang tanda mo na, iiyak iiyak ka pa dyan!” or “Mayabang ka! Wala ka na ngang ginagawa!” - How am I being mayabang? You insult me and when I argue back you tell me na mayabang ako? What a heartless bitch!!
I’m a VERY understanding person but I can’t cope with someone like her! Even when I try and talk to her, she won’t listen.
She turns it around and makes it like it’s ALWAYS my fault why she’s like that.
Ugh. Life.
