Poems 108-119
Ok, so here's the deal:
I finished NaPoWriMo, but I don't want to share the last 12 poems I wrote for the month online. So I won't be posting NaPoWriMo poems 19-30 and my yearly challenge poems 108-119 here. I will, however, get you all caught up in May and a few of those poems will *hopefully* be going up today.
Sorry for the awkward hiatus and I'll be back in action now.
Location, Location, Location!
I'm still deliberating on where exactly this event should happen. I know it is going to be outdoors in one of Toronto's parks but which one! It seems like there are so many to choose from until you look a little more closely. Too many trees in the way, to hilly, not quite enough space, not accessible by transit, the list just keeps getting shorter.
At this point the list has been narrowed down to: 1. High Park: High Park is definitely the largest of the three choices and it accessible by transit. But the grade and landscape of the park make it difficult to find enough relatively flat space for the festival to spread out on.
2. Riverside Park: This is a beautiful wide open park that is super accessible by transit and close to the evergreen brick works where the night event, Savour, could be held. But the grade of the park is very steep. There is a flat space at the bottom of the hill, but there is a track there which would make it difficult to anchor our structures.
3. Woodbine Park: This park is made for festivals. It has a wide grassy expanse in excess of 100 meters wide. It is very accessible by transit and has large washroom facilities located near by. It seems like this is the ideal place for our festival and it is still not too far from the evergreen brickworks.
