Okay, so I'm a little confused with Leon project. Please correct me if/where I'm wrong.

If I get this right, it was first like a one piece moder au thing, right? And later it developed into it own original thing. Or is it still au? Just like very heavily changed from original. Was it even ever au? Because from what I understand, it was, but now this is its own thing

ANYWAY the LYON project (lyon is the 3rd biggest city in france, considered the capital of gastronomy :D) did start off as a one piece au, as "what if they were all french" (a nightmare for some, ik)

at some point i was putting a lot of thought and time in it, and that with the themes that emerged that strayed very far from the source material, i decided to make it its own thing !

it was very freeing on a writing point of view, bc some stuff that needed to be there bc of the one piece equivalent, but ultimately didnt add anything could just get dumped, and other ideas that werent there in the source material came in quite naturally

so yes you are right !

Wedding jitters-Loic Bade

pairing: fiance!Loic x fiance!reader

summary: Loic has to see you before the wedding

the room suddenly felt tight, as if the amount of people buzzing around you had tripled. Your vision hazed, and your breathing became laboured as you lean against the wall attempting to steady your heavy limbs.

“hey!” your maid of honour says snapping her fingers in front of your face “babe, listen to me, my breathing”

you shake your head, feeling the tears prick at your eyeballs, your thoughts form a dangerous swirl in your mind

what if i’m rushing into this

we’re too young

does he really love me

are we sure marriage is the step

you hear nothing from the people around you just his name

“call Loic”

and in the blink of an eye your husband to be is kneeling in front of you, vacating the room with one wave of an arm

“hey” he says softly “hey champ”

“can’t do this” you say in a broken voice “what if..

“sshhh” Loic stops you “none of that mon cherie”

“i” you go to stutter but Loic hushes you, placing your hand on his heart

“follow my breathing” he says

you close your eyes mirroring your husband-to-be’s breathing,

“there you go” he says softly “it’s you and I, no one else, this wedding? is for us, it doesn’t matter what anyone else is thinking, what they’re looking at, hell we could elope!”

you laugh softly, finally opening your eyes to meet your husbands brown ones

“thank you” you say

“this is the beginning of forever Mrs Bade” Loic smiled kissing your knuckles “see you at the alter”

“see you” you smile
