in case it’s not obvious, i needed a tedious activity to do to avoid writing an email to a buyer to explain that “Sunset Trichelle”, THE doll that’s been close to my heart, a cursèd pain from the start and a work in very slow progress for several years, while carefully packaged with a tracking sticker is MIA and after being bounced around laposte employees on the phone for an hour, the best they could come up with is we’ll add it to the ‘look for this package list’ and we’ll let you know the results of the investigation in upto 35 days. The client can get a full refund out of my paypal via ebay’s buyer protection in 4 days so that’s freaking delightful. Also my trust for laposte is at an all time low if they can’t even keep track of the tracked stuff. Just this summer, they’ve lost me 4 wigs to the US (untracked - 2 resent, 2 refunded) and two simple letters in country took nine days so the buyer got a full refund and one left a neutral. But Sunset Trichelle, that’s personal, bruv.
On the other hand, I would like to raise some dolly purchase funds as a bunch of vintage Skippers and Scooter heads that need reroots just popped up and I’m so very tempted. So I’m sort of getting round to that july project (ha! way to jinx things by setting a date) to list my custom Monster High for 6-10€ depending on the cost of materials/work which is depressingly low but realistic for “non repaint” yarn or partial reroot customs in france. I’ve got 13 ready so far. 6 more need lip fixes and photos.
