(Spoiler: This doesn't mean you should constantly be happy or that you should be positive to the point of ignoring or minimizing harmful things!)
The 59 slogans through a social justice lens
This week I decided to pull up one of my commentaries on the Lojong slogan "Begin the sequence of sending and taking with yourself." This is a good reminder to both include ourselves in our practice of compassion, care, love, and the longing for liberation AND to remember It's Not About Me. May it be of benefit.
Always meditate on whatever provokes resentment.
