Me, identifying as a guy today:

Y/N: *refusing to get out of bed*
Loki: Wake up, darling. It’s a new day.
Y/N: No, I don’t feel like it. I’m hibernating.
Loki: What do you mean. It’s not that cold out and you’re not a bear.
Y/N: I CAN BE WHATEVER I WANT TO BE! Also you don’t get to talk about cold, you’re a frost giant. You don’t feel coldness.
Loki: Darling, please get up.
Y/N: I don’t feel like it!
Loki: Fine, *picks up Y/N bridal style* I’ll force you, too.
Y/N: Loki!!! Put me down!!
Loki: No, I don’t feel like it.

Death did not enjoy letting those who needed her suffer, but there were times such as this where it was a necessity.
Thanos enjoyed killing the denizens of many worlds and it took her too long to understand that her presence, no matter how displeased she was, was a reward to him. Now, she waited. She would deny him her presence in hopes that his crusade would stop.
So far, it was failing. She hoped the man at her feet would help change that.
Death reached down and grabbed Loki’s essence before she halted him to his feet. His body continued to lay still on the ground, but they didn’t need it to have their conversation.
Though Loki was taller than her, she regarded him calmly, clearly not intimidated by his stature.
Yes, he would do nicely.
“Loki,” she whispered his name gently, “Do you know who I am?” she asked him. The conversation always went better if they understood who she was on their own. She needed him to understand the gravity of his situation before he understood that she would assist him, if he would only cooperate.
