So a skinny red fox living in a still radiated Chernobyl was given sausages and bread and proceeded to construct a five decker sandswhich of breakfast meats.

As the current incarnation of Loki in Marvel comics wears a headdress with a fox icon in it's centre and can take fox form.  And his favorite food happens to be breakfast meats I am convinced this is not a fox at all but Loki in disguise scamming a free breakfast sandwich. :-P

He nuzzled against his pet's nape as they lay close, radiating in each other's warmth while the snowy moonlight filtered in through the window behind them. "Are you warm now?" he murmured tenderly, trying not to remember how the poor fox had been shivering terribly in his bed on the floor.
