It’s hard being a Loki fan. Especially being a fan of Al Ewing’s Loki.
Like, if I look up Loki fan content, pretty much all I’m gonna get is Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, the MCU Loki. If I look up “comics Loki,” I’ll get fan comics of MCU Loki. If I look up “616 Loki” well too bad because Kevin Feige decided the MCU is 616, so I get MCU Loki. What do I even look up? Ikol? Then I get Amulet’s Ikol! Even if I do get the comics Loki, I might end up with pre-Agent of Asgard Loki, who is also pretty different from what I’m looking for. I’ve had some success with “ikol Loki”, “Al ewing Loki”, and “Loki aoa”, but it always feels like it’s a bit of a struggle trying to get what I’m looking for.
Also, it seems like there are less fans of this version of the character in general. There are no animatics, not all that much fan art. Especially compared to the MCU Loki stuff. I don’t really frequent fanfiction websites, maybe I should check that out tho.
And I don’t dislike MCU Loki! That’s how I got into the character. I just want my grungy queer chaos goblin.
