My Lokius themed pumpkin this year! I was so excited to make something complex and amazing, then I started regretting it after 2 hours of drawing and tweaking the design, then another four hours actually carving it!

My Lokius themed pumpkin this year! I was so excited to make something complex and amazing, then I started regretting it after 2 hours of drawing and tweaking the design, then another four hours actually carving it!
{ outofmagic } So, a few days ago, my roommates and I carved pumpkins because, you know, it’s that time of year. It’s literally been years (at least 8) since I carved a pumpkin and it was really fun, but this was what I decided to do! I used a simple stencil, poked small holes around the stencil to map out the pattern, and then emptied out the pumpkin guts and carved along the holes! A few of the finer details got lost because they were so fine that they just broke off, but overall, I’m really really happy with my Loki pumpkin!
