Loki Rewatch random thoughts and questions (updating)
Yes, I’m now technically watching for the 3rd time because this just what I need in my life.
Does anyone know what being “reset” means? They imply that it’s different than pruning (being sent to The Void) but they never really explain what it is? Do you lose your memories and replace yourself on the timeline?
THIS QUOTE “For nearly every living thing, choice breeds shame and uncertainty and regret. There's a fork in every road, yet the wrong path always taken.” gave me BIG finale vibes. Loki made choices, Slyvie made choices. The wrong path taken. In that long zoom-in shot on Loki’s face after Slyvie betrays him, you can feel the shame, uncertainty, and regret. Damnnnn.
At one point in my original watch, I asked “what was the point of Slyvie bombing the timeline?” Now I’m pretty sure the answer is it was just a distraction so she could get to the Timekeepers. Totally makes sense but I thought the multiple branching timelines would have more of an effect on the plot.
At the end of Ep 2, it seems like Slyvie “holds open” the time door with the intent of Loki following her. But then in ep 3 we see she doesn’t really want him there at all. So did she purposely leave the door open, or is on some kind of automatic set timer? 🤔 Probably looking way too deep, but still haha.
