That remains a mystery to me as well, Vivisection. Perhaps it is my irresistible charm, which you so clearly lack. Or perhaps, if you took an interest in him and his struggles instead of carelessly and selfishly using him for your own ends, he would be more pleasant company.

Okay, so far I like Version #4 of the concept photos

This version with the jewelry, them eating fruit/grapes gave me A LOT of “Blood Sweat & Tears” vibes.

BS&T and WINGS in general used a lot of Baroque/18th Century elements to represent “falling into temptation” or corruption of innocence and entering adulthood.

Map Of The Soul: PERSONA seems to still be using those same elements but with late 19th-mid 20th century (VERY SUBTLE) elements mixed with modern (Modern Renaissance to be exact) to represent the many masks that we, as individuals, wear on a daily basis. As if reminding us that even in modern times we’re all still actors in a play creating a “Persona” to deal with the world around us because deep down we’re afraid to show who we really are and risk being judged on it.

And I really like how Bangtan as executing the concept through the photos to show the lives of Idols/public figures/entertainers.

Sometimes all we see is the glamour, the bright lights, the expensive clothing, the jewelry, the “happy smiles”, and flashy choreography. But as fans, we may never really get to see who these people are “in real life”; all the struggles, pain, tears and frustrations that they’re going through. Even IF they willingly show it to us it’ll be “toned down” to prevent shocking the fans to the point of feeling excessive pity, anger or some other type of emotion that may prevent us from supporting them AS FANS.

So... yeah, I like it so far.

Sit down, lets talk.

So last night and even today I’ve seen a lot of people complaining and downright bitching at BTS/BigHit for choosing such a small venue in Forth Worth.

And I wonder, do any of these people use their brains enough to think that maybe, JUST MAYBE they chose such a small venue as a safety precaution after the many death threats that were made from that very place towards the guys?

Honestly, I thought it was one of the most LIT concerts yet. And the boys said so themselves during their ending speech. Armys really should learn to be more humble/grateful instead of always sitting back to criticize (especially those who are able to attend every concert, fansign/fanmeet while others will never get that chance in their lifetime).

BTS already does way too much for us by putting aside their own physical & mental health to please fans who they believe love them unconditionally, only to get in return a bunch of whiny brats.

And the same goes for this issue with Bangtan’s upcoming Japanese album and the controversy that would have come with it had a certain collaboration happened. (you can read this post here if you’re still not updated on what’s going on)

We, as I-Armys, should not have gotten involved or even made assumptions on a delicate matter that concerned only K-Armys & J-Armys. A matter that involved more than just lyrics to a new song. It was a problem that dates back to both Korea & Japan’s history during the times of war as well as a very touchy subject. Something that could have ruined BTS’s and BigHit’s reputation permanently and bring greater conflict between both nations.

So if K-Army or J-Army tell us to back off and that they’ll handle it their way. That’s not them being “bitchy again”, ungrateful or power-playing/manipulating, what BTS can or can’t do. It means that they understand the situation better than we ever will because of how different Asian society is compared to Western. Because at the end of the day, doesn’t matter how big BTS is globally, their home, their family, their life is in Korea and one single poorly made decision could have costed them everything in an instant.

So if you’re one of those still commenting around:

“Yeah yeah, i read about the “controversy” but I still wanted the new song.”

“Honestly they shouldn't have removed the song. I think its stupid.”

Or my personal favorite: “Do ya’ll got any receipts on those accusations?” and rolling your eyes at K-Army “being immature again”. Then I have some bad news for ya, buddy. Your behavior states that you don’t care what happens to them as long as you get another catchy song you can add to your Spotify playlist so you can show off to your friends on twitter/instagram, ect. And that’s NOT okay.

Because if the ball was in our court and the issue involved an artist in own country. Then I’m pretty sure most of you would be going off on twitter on how you don’t want “some crazy Asian fan” giving opinions on what’s right or wrong regarding matters of your country. (I know who you are, I’ve seen you, don’t deny it.)

So what the hell do you want me to do then if i can’t get involved in stuff like this?

Just keep supporting them the same way that you have until now. Listen to their songs, watch their mvs, stream if you want, vote if you can when the situation calls for it. Buy that hoodie, those shoes, that plushy, that lightstick if you can afford it and want it. Go to their concerts if its within your reach, if not then watch from home and enjoy yourself with a nice big ass cup of coffee and some snacks. Celebrate their achievements regardless if they win the big award or not.

But also learn when to step back a little... you can’t always fight someone else’s battle nor control the outcome of every situation.
