Hi!!!! I loved your Loki x green witch reader story I’m actually obsessed with the concept of the usually moody Loki just enamoured by this ray of sunshine. So is there anyway you could do like a blurb of them pre relationship?? Maybe Loki makes excuses to catch glimpses of her and she takes it the wrong way?
AGHH this request excited me so much I’ve loved Loki x sunny green witch reader for ages and this ignited my want to write so hey this might become a little series if anyone’s interested. The original one shot is here but this can totally be read stand alone!
Loki x fem!greenwitch!reader
Loki couldn’t quite remember how it had started. He remembers the first time he saw you, it was hard to forget after all. You were all smiles and smooth movements, the ethereal sparkles leaving your fingertips so effortlessly he felt like he’d had a spell cast on him right then and there.
Maybe he had. Maybe that was why for the past month Loki had found every opportunity to catch a glimpse of who he now knew to be the green witch.
In Asgardian folklore witches were evil old crones, sharp splintered nails and sneering wrinkled faces, cloaked in dark heavy materials. How wrong they had been. You couldn’t antithesis’ that more.
Your beauty was obvious. Anyone with eyes or ears would recognise that. From how you nurtured every aspect of your life, from the smallest of insects to the mightiest of hero’s. Your kindness was staggering. This naturally intrigued him.
The god of mischief had heard rumours of your origin from other members of the avengers, well heard was pushing it. He had asked. The Robin Hood knock off had mentioned something about you hiding? Spending years locked away in the forest, too kind to fight the cruel hunters so living a life of solitude among the plants and creatures.
Witches were a hot commodity after all. If the impression Asgardians had of witches was anything to go by he could only assume the dimwitted humans had a similar ideology.
But enough about the past, Loki was very much struggling with you in the present.
The first few times it was an accident. You both seemed to favour tea over the dark caffeinated syrup the other heathens of stark tower were addicted to. So when you softly asked him,“Did you have the last lemon tea bag?” With absolutely zero malice, it took Loki nearly twenty seconds to string together some sort of reply.
“Yes… my apologies”
“Ah that’s no problem I’ll have to make some more, I grow my own tea leaves”
Well I guess that was how it had begun. Loki’s infatuation and his over consumption of herbal tea.
He had managed to memorise your schedule. You would spend most of your time in the green houses, flourishing your garden and researching new spells in the hundreds of old tomes and scrolls Stark had helped you find.
In the evenings, usually around 9pm you could be found in the common areas, sat in a corner with a book and of course a cup of tea. Loki suddenly found himself waiting for the clock to strike 9 every day.
The god was casual about it, never approached you or tried to charm you into his company like he would have done in the past with broads upon Asgard. No you were far too special to be smarmed.
So he would just hover like a black cat, observing silently as casually and as cautiously as possible. Just like tonight.
At 9:01 pm Loki strolled into the kitchen, like most (all) evenings and heated the kettle pouring himself a cup of tea. His eyes landed on you like they always did, how could they not. The silence unlike most nights felt thicker, heavier. Something was off, and your sigh filled with unfamiliar contempt shocked him into dropping his tea spoon, the small metal tool falling into the countertop with a loud clatter.
The noise garnered so much volume you involuntarily got out of your chair, slamming your book shut with a pout as you made your way to the door. Just before Loki slammed his head against the wall like a lovestruck fool your voice rung out in the air.
“I know everyone here thinks I’m strange but if you’re just going to stand there and gawk at me every evening I’d much rather you just disclosed your judgments out loud…”
“I’m sorry?”
“Don’t act so perplexed. I’ve seen you coming here to catch a glimpse of me..”
Lokis heart dropped, you knew?
“…oh look at the mad witch who spends all her time talking to plants I wonder if she’s as nuts as everyone says she is!!”
Oh no. No no no you’d gotten it all wrong. If he wasn’t so stressed about the content of which you were speaking he probably would have been fixed on how adorable you were when you rambled.
“No… no I promise that was not my intention. It probably doesn’t come as a surprise to you that I’m not very well liked by the louder more extroverted inhabitants here…you well you seemed different? Less brash more… calm”
Gods he was such an imbecile. If you didn’t think he was an utter creep before you definitely would now.
The gods eyes were wide and frantic scanning your features for any kind of sign of understanding. Someone must of been looking out for him because the wrinkle between your brow softened and that pout, that intoxicatingly adorable pout curved into what could only be described as a bewitching smile.
“Oh… oh well then it is my turn to apologise… I just assumed you thought… well you know…”
“Fortunately I don’t…”
“Well maybe next time you happen upon me reading you could… join me?”
Loki nearly grabbed his chest to still his beating heart “I look forward to it…” maybe he wasn’t the god of lies after all.
Warnings/Disclaimers: Alludes to some spice at the end.
A/N: This took way too long to finish… I kept rewriting portions. I’m fairly satisfied with how it turned out. Hope you all enjoy!
Masterlist
The plane hadn’t yet landed, and you were practically vibrating in your seat for the freezing weather that awaited you on the ground below. After spending an entire semester away from your Avengers family in a climate that you determined to be unbearably warm, you were ecstatic to be back. You could almost feel the snowflakes between your fingers.
Your magic was close to reaching its boiling point by the time the plane touched down. You had to remind yourself to breathe just so you could keep control over it. Unleashing it could wait until you got to the compound where there was actual snow, not whatever salted sludge had been shoved off the runway and city streets.
The thought of adding a little extra frost for the holidays had you ready to bolt out of your seat when the seatbelt light switched off and passengers began pulling their luggage down from the overhead compartments. Quickly grabbing your carry-on bag, you dashed out of the plane and to the luggage pickup. With the last of your things in hand, you made your way out to the vestibule where a shivering Happy was waiting for you.
“I don’t know how you can stand it,” he chattered as he looked you up and down. “This has to be our coldest winter yet.”
You, on the other hand, just grinned. Here he was blanketed in a comically large puffed jacket, scarf coiled around his neck and face, knitted hat pulled over his ears and thick boots encased in wet snow, and you stood there in late autumn garb.
“Oh, please!” You launched into a hug. “This is nothing. It’ll take a lot more for me to freeze.”
He hugged you back before taking some of your luggage from you and leading you outside to the car. “I swear you should have been born a penguin.”
You snickered, “Nah. I don’t think that would work out so well.”
“What makes you say that? The Antarctic is perfect for you,” he retorted, stuffing your bags into the trunk.
“I don’t think I could stand to eat fish for every meal,” you said, sliding into the front passenger seat.
Happy barked out a laugh. “Fair enough.”
The ride through the wilderness surrounding the compound was absolutely gorgeous — Trees decorated with gleaming snow, icicles just beginning to drip in the morning sun. It made your heart sing. Part of you wished Happy would pull over just so you could experience a little longer. Then again, there would be time for that later. You would make sure of it.
Happy pulled into the long drive to the building entrance. Just outside the doors, you could see a few of the occupants waiting to welcome you home, namely Tony, Steve and Wanda. You might as well have kicked the door open with how fast you flew out of the car to tackle your fellow witchy friend when the car had barely come to a stop.
“Nice to see you, too, Elsa,” Tony scoffed playfully.
You poked your tongue out at the billionaire, partly for the cringy nickname, before releasing Wanda. “What? I can’t hug my best friend now?”
“Oh, no. That’s still allowed. But I call first dibs.” He held his arms out expectantly. “Now get over here, runt.”
With the biggest eye roll humanly possible, you relented and wrapped your arms around his middle. “Missed you, too, old man.”
He let you go and swung you around to face Steve. “Well, that’s just rude. Capsicle has way more years on me, and you don’t call him, ‘old’.”
“I don’t tease my favorites.”
It was Steve’s turn for a hug which he received gratefully, patting you on the head before letting you step back.
“So…” Tony cleared his voice awkwardly. “Did, uh… Did Happy tell you anything on the way here?”
“I did not,” Happy chimed in, setting your luggage down. “That was your job, sir.”
Steve crossed his arms and gave Tony that disappointed mother look. “Tony… It’s been nearly six months, and you haven’t said anything?”
You looked at Wanda who just winced guiltily.
“Told me what?” you huffed.
Just then, the doors slammed open, revealing Thor dragging along another person behind him.
“Apologies, friends!” Thor boomed and shot a grin your way. “I was retrieving my brother for welcoming you home.”
Oh.
Finding out that Loki was living at the Compound was surprising. Finding out that he had been there since right after you started this semester was a shock. Not that you were actually angry about Loki specifically. From Thor’s stories, he sounded alright now that the supposed mind control thing was out of the picture. (Okay, more than alright. You were excited to meet someone more mischievous than you.) You were more frustrated with the fact that Tony had neglected to mention it. It’s not like you two hadn’t spoken while you were away. Bonus Dad checked up on you constantly, asking about the dorm situation, how your grades were doing, were there any bad professors this semester, etc. It was interesting how easily he fell into the father role despite not having children — Yet. Pepper was going to reveal she was pregnant soon, and you could not wait to see the look on his face. Regardless, Tony had plenty of opportunities.
You let out a sigh as you pulled yourself out of bed to see the snow before the sun had a chance to melt any of it. Sliding the curtains open, the sunlight was just barely peaking over the horizon, dancing over the glittering white adoring the landscape. Even if Tony had thought you would freak out, you would have cooled off by the time you made it back home. And if it didn’t, this scene would definitely have calmed you down. It always did.
Just as you were about to step away to change out of your pajamas, you noticed something moving across the snow. Black hair, trademark green sweater, dark trousers — Obviously, Loki.
You still thought it strange. Of the few days you had been back home, everyone else hid indoors, nestled in layers of clothing and blankets with some kind of hot beverage in their hands that they could siphon heat from. But not Loki. No, he usually holed up in his room most of the day. The mornings, like this one, were the only times you would see him. Why he never wore more clothing, you weren’t sure.
Hastily throwing on more suitable clothes and shoes, you rushed out of your room to properly meet the god you kept missing on your own morning walks. Screw Tony’s attempts to steer you away. You skipped the elevator, knowing it would take too long. Instead, you raised your palm and blew into it like you were chasing away dust. Flurried flew from your hand and coated the stairwell with ice for a series of slides. You stifled your laughs as you spiraled down to the first floor, not forgetting to recall the ice back to you before making your way outside. Safety first.
You bounced off the steps, straight into the fluffy snow that had rebuilt itself overnight and peered around for your target. Nothing. Nothing but white sheets of powder. Icy dust fluttered around you as you huffed. Were you too late?
“And here I was told the infamous Ice Witch loved the snow,” came a dark, silken voice from behind.
Spinning around, you found Loki standing by the doors, his hand outstretched for the handle. Oh no. He wasn’t getting away this time.
“I do,” you responded in faux offense.
“Oh?” He sneered playfully as his arm retracted to his side. “Then why such disappointment?”
You shrugged, trying to play it cool. “The fact that I keep missing the chance to have a walking buddy.”
His head titled, raven locks tumbling down his shoulders as he appraised you. “What makes you think I would fill that role better than the others?”
“Because you’re the only one out here of their own volition.”
There was an odd twinkle in his eyes for just a moment before he scoffed and turned to the doors again. What a mistake that was.
You took the chance to conjure a snowball and hurl it at the back of his head. It splattered into his hair, the powder sticking to the individual strands for a look of premature graying, just as his fingers touched the handle. He stiffened so visibly that you bit your lip to stifle your giggling. Was he actually angry over something so childish? It felt like an eternity before anything happened, and when it did, it was in an instant. Loki vanished.
Spinning around frantically, you tried to locate him but to no avail. You had heard he could teleport but definitely were not prepared to see it live. He was just gone. The only trace of him was the set of footprints leading up to the Compound.
A barely perceptible crunch sounded behind you, and a warm breath was suddenly in your ear. “I accept your declaration of war,” Loki spoke low.
Before you could react a mound of powdery ice plopped on top of you, sufficiently burying you in the snow. Had you been anyone else, you would have been trapped under the almost suffocating weight. You grinned as the snow parted from your clothing to lay flat amongst the surrounding ground cover. Meanwhile, the trickster god remained standing where you last saw him, hands held behind his back and a challenging twinkle glinting in his eyes.
Raising your hands, snowballs formed and rose around you. “Game on, Mischief.”
By the end of the day, you were nearly spent, having lobbed playful projectiles at each other all morning. Flopping on the ground, you closed your eyes and attempted to calm your laughing with some deep breathing. A shadow fell over you, blocking the sun from scalding your eyelids.
“Had enough, little witch?”
Peering through one eye, you found Loki with a childish smirk looking down at you. It was… Cute. Oddly cute but cute nonetheless.
“For the moment,” you chuckled. “Temporary truce?”
He folded his arms and rubbed his chin in mock contemplation. You swore if he actually tried to continue the fight, you were going to bury him in snow like he did to you earlier.
“I suppose I’ll agree to this,” he grinned as he held his hand out to help you up.
You gratefully accepted the gesture. Hands clasped as he pulled you to your feet, a tingle spread through your palm.
Everything seemed to fall into place after that. Your days were spent outside in the snow with the trickster while the evenings, the only time she would come out because Tony would light the fireplace, were for you and Wanda to catch up. At the moment, you were lounging inside the ice castle you so meticulously crafted to conceal yourselves from prying eyes. Namely, Tony.
“Do you truly believe this will stop the others?” Loki’s low timber voice broke through your thoughts.
You shrugged halfheartedly. “It keeps Tony from being a creeper while we’re out here. At least now we can hang out and chat in some privacy without Widow trying to read our lips when she starts spying.”
“Such privacy does come at a cost,” he hummed.
“Yeah?” you chuckled, sitting up and flicking a bit of white dust his way. “Think they’re talking bad about us?”
Loki swatted it away before scooting closer. “In general, yes. It’s the specific nature of their gossip that would cause some to worry.”
Oh… Oh.
“Let them think whatever they want. Doesn’t bother me.”
You took your turn to slide in his direction.
“No? Would you not feel embarrassed if they believed us to be in each other’s beds?”
Heat creeped up your neck. He had to be blunt about it.
“I mean… A little, yeah. But it’s not like I would be mad about it.”
Your eyes met, his scrutinizing yours for any tell. His brow furrowed in confusion. Truth be told, you liked Loki. You had managed to form a tiny crush on him. Tiny. Not that you would admit it. You were an adult. Adults don’t have crushes… Right?
“What about you?” you pressed, feeling a bit emboldened being in your element literally and figuratively.
“What about me?” As he spoke, his breath hit your face. When had he gotten so close?!
“W-would you be embarrassed?”
Loki’s lips brushed against yours, eliciting the warm tingle from your first day spending time with him. “Not in the slightest, my little ice witch.”
would you be able to do a loki or tom one shot where reader discovers that’s she’s pregnant after dealing with infertility?? super fluffy and cute?
A/N: I set this in my Witch!Reader series.
Parents - Loki Laufeyson x Witch!Reader
...
You’d never pictured yourself as a mother.
Really, you hadn't. And you'd imagined yourself as so many things - a fighter, an Avenger.
Loki's wife.
But then...
Well, after five years of marriage, it was suddenly all you wanted, and all Loki wished he could give you. If you wanted to be a mother, he knew you'd be the best one there was, even counting his own.
The only problem was... you couldn't get pregnant.
It was more frustrating, than anything. You wanted this one thing to work out for the two of you, just once. You were a witch, he was a warlock. Why couldn't you two manage this?
Didn't you deserve that much? Didn't the universe owe you that much?
No, you supposed. No, it didn't.
Until, one day...
It did.
You burst into tears as you checked, then double-checked, then triple-checked the positive sign on the pregnancy test you'd had Wanda pick up for you.
It was still there. One tiny plus sign, the kind that would change your life.
You allowed yourself to weep, for a moment, trying not to become overwhelmed.
How would you tell Loki?
After all this time, would he even want a kid?
No, you told yourself, sternly. No, Loki wanted this as much as you did.
Besides, he'd banished all those fears about passing on some of his, um, less desirable traits... hadn't he?
Pushing those thoughts away again, you began to get to work.
...
"Darling, I'm... home."
Confused, Loki stepped into the main room, unaware of the trap you'd laid for him.
He picked up his helmet, gingerly, studying it.
It hadn't always been this small... had it?
He cleared his throat.
"...Darling?"
"Yes, love?" you answered, strolling in.
"You didn't happen to, um, test one of your shrinking spells again... did you?"
You laughed, and he laughed with you, uneasily.
"No, no, of course not! Well... actually..." you cleared your throat, presenting him with his real helmet. "You might want to take a look inside that helmet."
Confused, Loki tilted the helmet downwards, glancing into it.
Inside, you'd taped the pregnancy test.
Positive.
Almost immediately, Loki tossed the helmet down, sweeping you into his arms.
"We're having a baby!"
"I know!" you laughed, and he squeezed you tighter.

I changed this original Chapter 1 post into a series masterlist instead that links to the story on Ao3. The entire series was beta’d by the lovely @idjitmonkey and I really hope you enjoy. You wouldn’t miss the Tower.
You’d miss the people inside of it, of course... Natasha, Tony, Clint and Bruce. Stephen and Thor especially.
But now, you were moving out.
With Loki.
Into a home of your own.
Tony had helped you find the best little New York house... Victorian-style, and painted in colours of grey and lavender. It had a garden in the front, ideal for growing herbs for potions. It had a perfect view of the moon, unobscured by trees or skyscrapers.
Of course, in order to get into that perfect little New York house, you had to do something no person should ever, ever have to do-
Move with the Avengers.
“Careful!” you shouted, a little tenser than you meant to. “Hey, Bruce, easy-”
“It’s okay, I’ve got your plants, Y/N-”
“I know you’ve got them, you’re not being careful enough!”
“Darling,” Loki said, his hand on your shoulder. “It’s alright. Banner can handle the succulents.”
“Okay, but what about... what about the pressed flowers!” you exclaimed, gesturing at the box that Natasha was holding in one arm. “They’re going to fall out-”
“Y/N,” said Stephen, seriously, his hands on your shoulders. “If you can handle Loki all the time, you can handle this.”
You laughed, almost in surprise.
“Are you serious? He’s...” you shrugged, glancing at the man standing across the room. “My everything.”
