Fallen Willow
They hacked and sawed and chipped
At branches fair as twine.
Creaking and groaning sounded
As held by passersby.
Yet in the sunlight glared
A scream held only in mine.
Ever falling leaves settled none
Too soon in patchwork sadly sung.
In ancient tongue held trifle
Song which inane eyes thought won.
For folly is existence when
Upon truth love hangs undone.
Bruising the heart with a tattered frame
A longing holds ever more in the eye of time.
I am opening requests/commissions for Loki stories. A lot of my personal ideas have been through other fandoms recently, but if you have an idea you would like to have written out in my 2nd person pov style or OC style with Loki, I am open to suggestions.

Had our first kid.
Bought our first house.
Started a day care.
Been crazy to say the least, but satisfying to say the most. But I have to catch up on here because, you know, our lovely Loki has his own show!!!! I need to figure out how to get this other universe into the main one with my stories.

Just Imagine...
As in the days now gone when he would sit with the golden queen by the garden pool.
He would not notice as you approached from behind.
Stroke of the hair. Simple hello, but he knows it is you.
One thousand moments such as this yet the potency of love does not waver.
Though this black hair is longer, falling in segments of curls, he finds serenity (..ohhh...) in the familiarity of your touch (..and excitement).
No more golden queen. No more waters with reflecting stars. Only an iron table holding a cup of coffee. The bustling of the city street rather than the rustling of trimmed shrubbery.
From behind, you can see his smile in his head tilt; his comfort in his posture.
You always see him.

A Catch...
Clenching tightly to the hope,
Left with feelings in the throat.
Madness drives the madness out;
All that's left is all in doubt.
Anchor
Sanity is indescribable,
Yet to keep it is insane;
A burnt log of ashes
That has yet to crumble.
Aware of acts--
Injustice, unfairness, cruelty--
Cause pain, loneliness.
To live with disappointment;
Truth never found,
Lies unhindered.
If sanity should carry on,
The insane must surface.
A ship held at sea--
Immobile--
Must have a hidden anchor.

Dropping to collect the sanity that spilled,
Alas, peace is found in the insanity;
Nothing to hide when the illogical survives.
Point it downwards and stabilize,
Calm builds, only thwarted in the end.
Just Imagine...
He nods as a swill of gin passes your lips.
Looking sideways as the glass is slowly replaced on the glazed counter, a shudder racks the dim bar. You draw a simple Enochian symbol with the dew of the glass. The air glistens and movements seem to slow for several minutes.
A quick rush of air.

Loki jets out the door as people look around with confused expressions.
A casual swipe across the wet symbol while giving the bartender a smile as he tries to shake his head of the confusion, you leave the bar after your husband. Screams are coming from the street beyond, but your spell slowed the catastrophe enough to give bystanders a chance to run.
Coming to a halt beside Loki in the street, his gaze leads you (...metal..) to the blue sky. Falling rubble (..oh...oh no..) cascades in elephant-sized chunks. Sparks fly (....the space stations..) as it all hits the atmosphere.
Loki has a determined scowl, daggers glowing in his hands. Still staring skyward, he asks, “What is this, darling? And how did you know?”
“He does not want anyone to leave,” you state simply.
Loki pulls eyes from the sky to look at you, eyebrow raised.
“He never wants anyone to leave,” you continue, more to yourself, as you get ready to leap towards the falling debris, hoping to destroy it before there is further destruction.
A gentle grip on your arm makes you pause.
“Be careful,” he says softly. He kisses your hand and then you are throwing yourself into the air, golden wings in a mirage at your back.
AN: This was extremely fun to write. I have always been intimidated by writing action/hero-esque stories, but this just vomited itself onto the screen. Enjoy! :)
