Just told my roommate/proofreader something that was going to happen in Chapter 20, and she has put herself on the floor, covered herself with a blanket and declared, “I resign. I can’t believe I am hearing this with my real mortal ears. What the fuck? What are you going to do when EMS calls you and says that you’ve killed your readers? What are you going to do when you put Nap in a coma? HUH?? How many layers can you have in one story?-”

It’s been 22 minutes and she is still ranting.
