「✿」     Ani had always been a ball of potential energy, even as a small child in spite of their depression and various obstacles; a human whom had the rare pleasure of being raised knowing the existence of aliens and, in fact, was very good friends with some highly renown ones, she was thrilled when Earth established intergalactic relations as a teenager. Though she had previously dreamed of becoming a musician, she set aside these aspirations in favor of partly pleasing her mom’s desire that she have a successful occupation to earn good income out of, one that she, surprisingly, didn’t argue with as per usual... because she knew exactly where she wanted to go that she knew she’d love.

              Of course, things were a little complicated when Ani, now called Alex, registered at the training academy as genderfluid, but they didn’t let that stop them. In fact, it only fueled their desire to outdo all the other cadets, and they were quick to pick up on techniques, becoming especially talented with defensive forms of combat and researching on the field. They were one of the few offered a position in the Space Patrol Delta division for the Galactic Federation, barely grasping it with glowing recommendations from her academy’s dean and Pleakley. Though partly disappointed that they were assigned to C-Squad, which are composed of the second-best graduates, they plan on getting promoted to the B-Squad as best as they can. In the meantime, they’re more than happy to rekindle their pursuit of music when they’re not acting as the squad’s cook.
