Fakery - Gifts?!

So that wink made me go back and rewatch Gifts?! 3 times, focusing on one of them each time. I recommend watching both Kit and Meg individually through the whole thing.

I think it’s all fake anger. Some of the phrases Bea uses don’t sound right:

- “It’s not Christmas, you can’t just randomly give people gifts.” Surely even angry Bea wouldn’t say that? It makes no sense. People give each other gifts, lol!

- “Aren’t you angry? She’s given you a gift you don’t need!” Bea to Kit about Freddie. Again - what? A low-fi apology sure, but “a gift you don’t need”, I mean who ever NEEDED flowers, and yet centuries of people have given them to each other. 

Plus you can see the difference when each of them has a “real” moment. For example when Bea realises that the “song” she heard Peter sent Balth is the sonnet. Then when Meg hears that Freddie has sent Kit a message. And also when Meg hears Kit’s message. She kind of “breaks character” through that whole section and then says, “That’s actually kind of sweet” (and then watch her and Bea’s eye interaction - it looks like Meg is caving and Bea is willing her to keep up the pretence).  And if you do watch Kit by himself, you’ll see how much he’s laughing, so unless it’s nervous laughter, this video seems like a weird time to be laughing.

Bea might be angry (but she’s at least hamming it up), but the other two aren’t. Kit may be confused, but increasingly I don’t buy it!

Why does Bea wink????

Look at Bea when Meg says that Balth is not in his room watching “A Sonnet” on repeat. @winchysteria noticed that she winks at the word sonnet! (2:54 - in Gifts?!)

To those who know the lolalo story... Fucking boyets???? Oh my god I guess this confirms that Meg isn't boyet? Which makes me think she's the princess? Which means... WINTERKING
