I feel like something inside of me has snapped.  I need a revamp on my outlook on life... more specifically love.... even more specifically boys.  I need to shed these self imposed shackles and, really and truly, start living for me, myself, and I.  I talk the talk but now it is time to dance the dance.  It's not so much that the relationships in my world are bad, it's just what I let them turn into.  These sexually based, frivolous, banter which can be amusing for the most part but at the end of the day isn't worth the interweb space it's stored on.

I've taken myself off of Facebook .. well mostly I have.  I have emailed the people that I solely keep in touch with through Facebook, sending them my phone number.  They now have means to reach me if ever need be.  And I have their addresses so, vice versa.  Mind you, I totally expect to get back on it in about 3 to 4 months when I plan to move back to Australia and will use it as a means to keep in touch with my lovelies here in Toronto.

I just need a break from who I allow myself to be at times... maybe in hopes of altering it for the better... for good.  For the most part I like who I am.  I feel like an independent, creative, determined, romantic, spontaneous soul.  But sometimes even classic gems can stand a little change to make them a new favourite.
