just got lolitaland and its soooo pretty 😭😭

There is a note at the start of Lolitaland that I'm sure is supposed to capture the alcohol of the Bellini - and that works rather well, in my opinion. However, that note in its sweet, slightly off-putting transparency also resembles plastic wrapper (the type that perfume is oftentimes wrapped in, crinkling cellophane). I see how that note might not be comfortable for some (I also have to remind myself that it's alcohol, not plastic). However, the drydown is divine to me. Dripping in peach sirup, sprinkled with bourbon vanilla (dry-warm, brown). 10+ hours later, it's still warm under my hair, on the back of my neck. I do adore it. And for that, the plasticky-sweet alcohol is easy to ignore.

The overall impression, including all parts: Gas station fairy. A little too much, a little too sweet, boozy-sticky and with nectar-dripping petals.

she is here!! ah. lolitaland by lolita lempicka. my first thoughts were 'fresh... candy... oranges... green... bright' 🍊 extremely lovely and easy to like. beautiful, fanciful bottle design that is classy and not too over-the-top. i've worn sugary, milky gourmands, lately, but this is like a bouquet of flowers, freshly cut fruit, and vanilla. like orange sorbet with whipped cream
