DEADMAU5 | Professional Griefers (PREVIEW)
Deadmau5 put one hell of a set at Lollapalooza.
He headlined Sunday night of Lollapalooza at the Bud Light stage. The ground was muddy already from the first storm that roared on by Chicago and as the crowd was cramming each other in like sardines, you could tell that another storm was brewing nearby. The sky was purple mix with grey and it looked like a Batman scene or something. The crowd started to cheer Deadmau5 name to come out but as soon as 8pm rolled on by, you could see the rain slowly start to shift its way onto the crowd (which I was in). It looked like a wave of showers coming real fast and it was intense.
Deadmau5 was suppose to play at 8:30pm like every other headliner at Lollapalooza but as the rain started to fall, he dropped his curtain that covered his new lighting setup and the bass just started to kick throughout Grant Park. It was basically trembling throughout the whole way to Foo Fighters (the other main stage). Professional Griefers is a 'new' track that Deadmau5 will release sometime. This is essentially a preview of it and it really gives you a more of a progressive dirty house vibe.
