I decided to explore London (in 2017) on foot. Though I initially wanted to ride the double decker iconic red bus, at the last minute I told myself, "Let's explore on foot"
And that's what I did. From the hotel that I stayed I walked and found myself on Trafalgar Square. Tourists and locals where taking photos or sitting drinking their morning coffee. It was a sight that I always wanted.
While basking in the beauty of the square and the National Gallery behind me (photo above), I sat down and listened to the nearby cathedral bell's ringing. It was nostalgic and creepy at the same time. Creepy because...creepy movies did it. But I loved it anyway.
I looked around and enjoyed the beauty and relaxing scene. London is a busy city but it gave me the relaxing feeling. It was a dream come true.
Before I left the square, I took one long look. I'm coming back.
