Gryffendor is not doing well. The kidney disease has escalated. She still has an appetite, but she doesn’t want to get on the bed and snuggle with my. We are trying some new medication, but her quality of life is not what it once was. It appears that the inevitable is upon us. I love 💕 you, Gryffendor. My fluffy queen 👑 🐈⬛. HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY, Gryffendor 🥳 🐱🎂🎊🎉🎈🎁 ♥️🥳 She went to the vets office today. Of course, given that she is 19 she did not get a totally clean bill of health. Last year she was diagnosed with early stages of renal failure, which we have treated with diet and subcutaneous fluids. Today’s bloodwork didn’t show any improvement on her kidneys, but she has not gotten any worse, either, at least according to her blood work 🩸, but she has been having a difficult time keeping on the weight, and she is now showing signs of anemia. We are going to start her on a supplement for treatment; hopefully, that will do the job, if not we will have to opt for medication 💊.
