If you only dine at places like #RedRooster and #Lido then maybe you would think that #Black #Harlem has come to an end. But if you go to places like #Londel's, #CharlesSouthernKitchen, #KeurSokhna and this place, #AmyRuth's, then you know that #BlackHarlemLives. Every time I walk by Amy Ruth's the lines are sprawling with locals and visiting church groups. It's one of the few places where you can still get a full meal for $15 (protein and two sides). And in the tradition of legendary Harlem spots like M&Gs Diner and #Wells, Amy Ruth's is open all night Friday and Saturday so you can get #chickenandwaffles at 3am after you leave the club. And I love how Amy Ruth's has recently expanded their business to open a catering hall next door giving some of the most fab and yes, ratchet baby showers, bachelorette parties and birthday bashes.
