Mark Asprey is not at all surprised by the two cold bodies on his fur rug. In fact, his gaze is soft as if admiring their still forms. Have they been dead for hours? Days? Did Mark set all of this in motion? Maybe it was a coincidence. Or maybe he wasn't pretending to be the devil dressed in leather as he fucked Nicola.

Instead of answers, the room is silent. Mark takes a long drag of his cig. Blows out the smoke over Sampson's body before leaning over him to lift up the bloody manuscript laid lovingly on Nicola's breasts.

Mark reads it. Edits it. Publishes it under his name because as he says in the interview, "My readers deserve this level of...authenticity. Of truth. No matter what it costs me as an artist."

"Since you're so hot on it," the interviewer begins. "Let's talk about the truth."

Mark smiles smugly before he looks right down the camera with his brows raised and says simply, "Buy the book."

The credits roll.
