My name is Phoebe Mallett and I’m a 21 year old Londoner, born and bread, living in Camden Town. Recent light has been shed on the fact that Mental Health issues are experienced by a lot of young people, and adults in London; I am here to say that it shouldn’t stop there. It is vital that people continue to talk about this subject, as it’s some what of a ‘taboo’. I’ve personally experienced Mental Health issues, and I believe we all lie along a spectrum, so lets we honest, lets spread the word that no one should be ashamed of the way they feel inside. We know this is a huge problem, we’ve known for a while... it just takes a handful of brave, or fed-up people to start talking about it, and there-for creating resolution for those who feel ashamed or scared to speak openly. Mental Health issues require patience and presence.
