The Scavenger and The Pilot
Rey -- @lonedyad
“You know, I never saw this many stars in the sky back home.” He told her as he looked up the starry sky that seemed to stretch for miles over the desert. Chandrila was an urban planet and which it had gardens, it was filled with lots of buildings and with that light pollution. “I wonder if my uncle saw a similar sky when he was growing up on Tatooine.”
There was somehow a peace here, despite the heat that Jakku could get. It was hard life, but a simple one. He had honestly lost track of how long he had been there, ever since had had crashed and ran into the scavenger with whom he now shared a home with. At times, it felt like he had known Rey forever. She had seemed to be here forever too. He noticed that from the countless tally marks that littered the walls of the home.
At least between the two of them, they scrapped together a decent living, being able to get more than enough portions from Unkar Plutt. Ben had even helped her scavenge the ship he had crashed in, giving them enough food to eat for some time.
