That’s actually kind of why he acts like that. And also because he’s lonely, but doesn’t want to seem weak, so he doesn’t even admit it to himself. So, of course, the obvious course of action is to pretend that he doesn’t want anyone close, and makes a point of being arrogant to turn others away. ))

The Combaticons are currently taking up residence in some long forgotten warehouse/building/thing. I honestly have no idea where they are. That’s how good they are at keeping their base’s location a secret.

☾ : Sleep headcanon

For a short time after getting out of the Detention Center, they couldn’t stand to recharge by themselves. So yes, they did in fact huddle together when they recharged. But, it’s not something they talked about or will ever talk about, and they like to pretend it never happened.
