In my attempt to successfully advocate the importance of caring and protecting those who suffer from mental health, I often read cases were parents completely overlooked obvious signs because they were more concerned with their child/childrens grades. Education is vital, but it can't matter more than the child themselves. 1 in 7 children ages 2 to 8 years old has a mental, behavioral, or developmental disorder, acknowledgement along with the PROPER diagnosis is crucial concerning the welfare of our children. 20% of children have a mental health disorder, 20% of those get the help they need.!
