A wish in the fountain

Throw a penny in the fountain

Dyed indigo blue

My wish takes a dive

And comes up with you

But only a shadow

You’ve been gone way too long

You’re a tough lonely cowboy

In s sweet country song,

And I’m off on adventures

Chasing the sun

Diving off of the moon

Riding stars to beyond

the horizon

where the Buffalo roam

And your riding the range,

So I’ll never find home.

I know I fall too fast.

I fall in love with ideas, dreams, possibilities and kind words.

It's the closest to real love I can get.

And at the end of the day I am still alone at home.

Looking at my phone and waiting for a message, so I can dream on.

or should i pretend im done with works

got an empty white sheet

waiting for me to fill it

My chest fills with toxic waste As you spew out notions of what could be I deserve more and that’s how it should be Without your poisonous words Without false pretenses Without heartache I deserve more I deserve more babe I deserve to be solely someone’s Solely more than what you provide I need to get out of this lonely embrace You’re around me but yet… I feel no grace. I’m an empty casing of woman An empty shell of a human I need to find peace within Find peace within my being
