You know how in social etiquette where eye contact = interest and engagement? Marsha has always struggled with maintaining eye contact. She disagrees with this whole rule in regards to eye contact. Although she doesn't completely follow the whole eye contact rule, she does tries her best to make it look like she's looking you in the eyes even when she's not.

"HAH. SO YOU'VE HEARD OF ME, THEN?" It only made sense, after all, they barely knew each other. Mari hated to consider that her name had begun to spread across the mainland, but it was just a fact of nature she would have to deal with as a result of her successes. Maybe, tack on shortcomings as well, because in spite of her undeterred bravery, she wasn't precisely infallible.

Her injured leg and roughed up gear could attest to that—the wake of a battle she managed to overcome but not without a few scrapes. Not to mention, she doesn't recognize this part of the woods. She's positively lost and a bit beat up. Ah . . . well, she'd worry about the former part later.

Mari looks back down at her leg. She had cloth compressed to it to soothe the bleeding. "I've had worse injuries . . . some lifesoot and a little water and I'll be fine. At least those jerks won't be back here for a while."

"STAY CALM," She quips, shooting a confident smirk in the direction of the other as she reaches for the hilt of the greatsword on her back. Being cornered by a mob of dastardly thieves is a dangerous situation, but one Mari knows she can handle, given her experiences. "If a monster fight is my average monday, then you can consider this my saturday."

Yes, it was her recklessness and quick temper that had gotten them into this mess, but it was a swift hand and ruthlessness that will get them out of it. Mari had already called for her Pukei-pukei pair. They just needed to bide their time til' they got here.

Right now, the hedgehog is seated, deep in the night. He had so much to think about, and felt as though he was running out of time to get those thoughts organized. All around him, small sticks, and pebbles were glowing, levitating in the air. Silver didn't even realize he was using his power.

Not until he heard footsteps. Eyes widening, his control on everything stopped, as he'd been placed in immediate focus. The sticks, and pebbles fell.

"You uh... didn't see too much of that, did you?"

How embarrassing.

"I feel like I do my best thinking when it's dark, and cloudy. But here, I'm not sure if it's going to turn into rain or not. Where I'm from, rain is a dangerous thing that we all do our best to avoid."
