I-35W Saint Anthony Bridge in Orange

I went out to the I-35W bridge tonight in my quest to make a photo montage of it each of the solid colors of the rainbow. Tonight it is lit up in orange - a rare sight since it only happens twice a year. I now have it in orange, green, blue and purple. I just need red and yellow. It's only red once a year and is never regularly scheduled to be yellow - so I either have to wait for a very special event that they make it yellow for, or tweak the orange to make it look yellow..lol. As an added bonus, the water is also really high right now with waves crashing over the rocks!

I haven't been able to go out as much during the night this winter after Tristan was born, but when the sky is full like this the sleep can wait! On this night Joe went to take the dogs out before bed. He said there was a tiny bit of aurora when he first got outside. Then he heard a whoosh sound and thought maybe an owl had flown over or something. When he looked up the ski was bursting with lights! By the time I had grabbed my camera and gotten geared up to take this picture it had already died down some. Tulit'a, Northwest Territories, Canada.
