Longer Projects
When I am working on a longer project, I try to break it up as much as possible. I always make a list of the projects and assignments that I need to complete in the week so that I can cross off all of the projects as I complete them. This gives me a sense of time/how long I have until I have to submit the assignment. By breaking down into this, I can very easily separate my projects into segments. Usually this begins with an outline and some research, then a mass production session. During the mass production session, I do my best to type whatever comes to my mind related to the content, basically word vomiting into the project’s paper. After this, I can refine and edit the piece until I am satisfied enough to submit it.

A number of great strategies but I particularly liked the idea of a personal changelog. “Changelogs are a way to document things that are easy to forget. When I get discouraged at the pace of a project, looking at my changelog / journal often helps me understand why things have played out the way they have “
