Meet extraordinary creature called "Artemia salina"/my new fav' animal!!! ~ an animal which can survive 10 000 years!

You can dry them, set fire, dip into alcohol, deprived of oxygen, treated with ultraviolet light, cook at 105 degrees-C or cooled to absolute zero, and still, will survive. ;D They can also survive extreme pressure or survive in the water in which is present 50% of salt. Just as well they deal in cosmic space, as in the depths of the ocean. Really... Artyom participated in the Apollo missions in 1972! In early 90's team engaged in the exploration of oil, conducted in the vicinity of the Great Salt Lake in Utah in the western United States, drilling. Workers accidentally unearthed cysts (spores) of Artemia. What's so extraordinary? Based on radiocarbon dating, they found that these artemia have lain there 10 000 years, and hold on! ... They decided to check if some of these little ancient creatures can hatch, so throw them into the water. And... Some of them actually came to life and grown into adult form. Lol I ❤ them! From now on, Artemia is my crest! It would be fantastic be able to live in deep space or at least to be able copy their ability to hibernate during long space flights. X,D
