#longbeak long beak Many moons ago lived a colourful toucan. In those days toucans didn't have long colourful beaks.  Then one day in a rainforest in central America lived a bright colourful toucan called Tom. Tom was drinking from a lovely and beautiful waterfall as Tom was drinking a stone got stuck in Toms nose. Then Tom flew deep down in the rainforest to his friend Pete the monkey. Tom weep and said 'I have a stone up my nose it really hurts' Tom cried. 'Ha ha ha' Pete laughed 'a stone stuck up your nose how did that happen.' Tom explained how. Pete told Tom that's is very unlucky. After a little chat about each others days Pete pulled at Toms nose at first it did't work. Pete tyres again the stone came flying out and something better happened. Tom had a big long colourful beak. From then on toucans were born with long colourful beaks.
