First night at the Opera
A friend
I will make a long boi
hey @strange-aeons
I showed to a friend of mine the video of the creation of your son Thursday!
we got overwhelmed by the desire to make a long boi of our own, and now we are planning to do this to this old plushie of mine that I got in elementary school for my birthday.
He was given to me by an old friend that I no longer have contact with, but I’m still attached to him and want to give him a new life.
You, my son, will be long one day.
The longification will be long and painful, but you’ll love your new life.
The boy
His new fur
Soooooo I *might* have already bought a spine for a long boi, but I’m still unsure on which one to make first... I’ll probably do both, might start with the green one!
One thing is sure, I WILL have a noodle.
How to take apart a 2012 furby for stuffing/longification - part 1
Start off with the bottom, and take the screws out.
You did it! Now take out even more screws. Note: if you want to be able to put this back together, keep the screws and remember which go with what part.
Take out this lil piece
Pull the skin away from the plastic base. It's only attached in one spot
Oh look, that's where is attached! Unhook this if you want to use the same skin again, cut it if you're really frustrated
Flip that skin inside out as far as it will go!
See next post to keep learning!
My recently completed long furby ZhuZhu pet hybrid, Taiga. They have positionable arms, hands, neck, and tail. Theyre nine feet long from head to tail and surprisingly warm and comfortable. Cats seem to like them.
