Hey guys! For anyone wondering (I’ve gotten a few asks), this is lookerski. I deleted my account for personal reasons, but I plan on keeping this one up. There may be a few more text/shit posts (I can’t resist I’m SORRY), but other than that, everything will remain the same here. I’m sorry I deleted, but I honestly had to considering recent events. ☠ - i’m teaching myself guitar right now (only about 7 chords tho :/) and i can like sort of play keyboard, but not really? lol i know it well enough to work on choir music. I also sing if that counts :)

✈- I’m not very fond of country music, but I’ll listen to it if I have to and there are a few i really like lol so not really :)

i thought it was the musical too when i first heard it, but it's actually an old, popular band from the 70s ;u; the show's better than i thought haha. AND OMG that's GREAT

don’t you love it when the theme is something nobody in the band knows but the directors?

like in our show its excerpts from different songs that remind you of the seasons. and in spring one of the songs is apparently an english hunting song and NOBODY knew what doc was talking about when he was explaining it haha.

oh man, my directors do that too. sophomore year they made everyone who applied for section leader "captains" so there were like 12 of us, and it was just because they were indecisive. we're tiny. like 50 people only omg. our show's chicago the band!

ahaa, saaaame in our section, all four of us senior flutes are section leaders. which wouldn’t be so bad if there weren’t only six total people in the flute section. but i guess it’s because we have to lead the clarinets too since there’s only three of them and they’re all underclassmen.

ooooh, so is it like music from the musical chicago? that’s cool!

we have juuuust under 100 people in our band, making us on the edge of four and five open. a lot of us are kind of bitter about it. one of our directors almost made a dick joke about it (he tuned and quietly said to the other director “should I say size doesn’t matter?” and me and another flute DIED because we heard him)

...or it WOULD be same if our directors didn’t decide to cut piccolo this year mumble grumble.

my best friend for the past 3 years of band who graduated last year (and who may hate me now for reasons i do not know sigh) was the piccolo goddess and i looked up to her so much. she really is the reason im first flute this year. (i just wish i knew what i did to piss her off because i really dont know and its tearing me up)

probably for the best though since i have a hard enough time tuning high b flats on my flute and the piccolo is ten times harder to tune haha

i broke 2 flutes over the course of one band camp.

Singing. I sing all the damn time. It’ll be like, 2 AM and i’d be like “you know what would be fun? to belt out a disney song right about now.” yeah, im weird haha.

i honestly don’t know. somedays i want to go into medicine and become a pediatrician, and other days i want to sell out stadiums and sing.
