Lol it’s past midnight but I just want @ninjacupcake-x to know that I will forever and always love their starco fic “road trip” and that even though the day is probably never coming I still think about Chapter 10 regularly!! that aside I hope you’re doing well and want you to know that you are part of my success!!

(I wrote an essay talking about how fanfiction was a huge part of my journey on becoming a writer for my college English class last semester and it was published in a textbook) I’d love to properly thank a lot of writers some time who were big inspirations but given that you wrote “road trip” right around my freshman year in high school and I’m still thinking about it as an almost junior in college has got to mean something special!

So if you do see this thank you so much!! It’s a lovely story I’ll always cherish and I hope I’ll get to read more of your work again someday!!! ❤️

this is quite literally the best thing I’ve read all week and you literally made my entire day when I read this! Thank you so much, this really does mean a lot to me! I actually did have a pretty good amount of Chapter 10 written out in script form but only got part of it written in prose. That was actually my last fanfic I’m pretty sure but I do really miss writing sometimes. I’m so glad that at least one person really loved it and was a fan of it! If anything, I can at least smile knowing someone other than me enjoyed it hahaha. It had 0 structure but I had fun writing it, and if you ever wanna read the script, hit me up! uh “we’re fake dating and we need to prove to someone close to us that we are actually together and oh fuck they want us to kiss” is still one of the best fucking tropes in the book don’t fucking touch me

if you’re like “this fic was posted [x] number of days/weeks/months/years ago, it’s too late to post a comment,” let me tell you. no. it is never too late to comment. maybe someone else will see your comment and decide to read it. maybe the writer will see it, maybe they won’t, but if they do i guarantee they won’t be like “who’s this n00b commenting on my old fic” they’ll be like !!!! someone is reading my old stuff!!!! every time an AO3 comment is posted an angel gets its wings etc etc
