Declined. Time to switch.

Most everything is drawn automatically. Many companies now no longer accept payment in other ways. You are locked into recurring monthly payment as an only option.

It started to become a regular occurrence that services would get shut off because the card on file would be declined. Either the credit limit had been reached, a deposit had not yet transferred or the overdraft limit had been exceeded. For online services it was not a big deal. There was no person that you would have to see and explain yourself to and work through the embarrassing experience.

Each month there were two payments that frequently were a problem: the gym membership and an automatic payment for a college class that I still owed for. Each month I would have to personally say sorry and ask to swap out the card on file for a different one. It was a terrible feeling each time. The worst was going to the gym, scanning my bar code and for the computer to make the noise of a car coming to a skretching stop. Then they would ask me if I had an issue with my card again. I would have to say, I am sorry could I change up the card that is on file please?

After the first few times both the front desk person and the accounts receivable person from the college could tell I was really struggling or making some poor decisions. It was hurting. And my reputation was starting to take some hits.

I am not sure what happened to that card... Could I give you another card(That will hopefully go through this time)?
