I was confused to why it 'ruins' ones mood by the revelation of Ryuhei and Mitsuki getting married. I understand, perhaps they do not deserve a happy ending for what they've done in past arcs. Hell I do hate them as characters. They're insufferable and overall psychotic. But hey, who isn't? Majority of these bozos did just as bad and not near being redeemable. Idk why I'm defending the couple. I do hate them as characters but to me they're actually well written. They both grew in the end to more genuine feelings so what's the issue? I'm aware I can't make anyone to love them, I'm not telling either. I just thought... ehh🤷 I just don't see what's the deal.
UNLESS. One would argue that Ryuhei deserve better I will not stand for that actually (cuz I've seen someone commented that ). The reason they're both are good match because they're fucking suck as a person. Which exactly make them a great pair, perfect for one another.
Same goes with Vivi and Xiaolong. I genuinely went "awww" seeing them.
Yes. Again, not the best characters to ever exist. Especially what Vivi had done. Gosh darn it who even is a good person in Workers? But did they moved on and grew too? Definitely, look at them, living a normal life they've always wanted. And don't say Xiaolong deserves better cuz it's false. He genuinely ADORES her from the start and she returned those feelings with all of her heart. It's mutual. They both suck therefore make them an compatible couple.
Also saying (male characters) deserves better shows what a kind of person you are 😭 especially when you're supposed to know the major con they have in this damn series. Cough cough, misogynist... It's affecting thyself.
Just to prove my point that I'm not simply being a 'girl's girl' rn defending the ex Workers girls. Yes people are allowed to hate them but don't just hate them and THEN proceed to overlook their male love interests as if they're the victims in the girls' shackles. Especially when they knows what they're signing up for.
For example. Do I hate Heather? Not in particular. I dislike her at best. As the person who goes to school and have a strict parents, I expect her to be more aware and cautious. Although her mistakes are unmistakenly realistic, still didn't ease the itch on my back. But does she deserves better?? Definitely. Do I hate Yeowool? No. I hate how her body was literally portrayed as an eye candy. I hate how her nochalant trait was reduce as an excuse for losing her father just to make her more 'attractive'. To me that's lowkey lazy writing. Yes, she deserves better. But no she don't deserve those three acrylic stands and that polaroid where her ass is facing the front Do I hate Bongpal? No. In fact I do not give a fuck about her. Sure, realistic female body blah blah but the bars are on the floor. It's absurd that in order to just received a small amount of realism in the series is to see her shirtless? See how bad that is? It's hilarious. And trust me when I say this, her appearance have NO use whatsoever in Busan arc. It would not change a damn thing. She can simply be replaced with another random chopped character to get the information about Busan head crew and be done with it. No need for allat skin.
It might sound crazy, but I think this marriage between Ryuhei and Mitsuki is a sham. In my head, it makes sense that Mitsuki is staging the marriage as part of a plan to get Sinu back
