#21Days - Day 7 - Loomis Method Study

(I post regularly on Instagram, I’ve already completed the challenge on Instagram, I am uploading the drawings onto here.)

Today I did a quick practice of the Loomis Method, studying the construction of the facial features e.g. eyes, nose, ear, lips. To draw anime, cartoon or any exaggerated art style, it's good to have good knowledge of the art fundamentals so you can break the rules and draw those styles easier and better, that's what I've been taught and it really helped me out.

I did some Loomis method studies and this came out of EmmaMyers as Pip in AGGGTM, Jenna Ortega at the Actor Awards, and Enid Sinclair in Wednesday.

What is the face, if not the living nexus where the soul’s essence and the body’s form entwine? By its guiding wisdom, one draws forth the head, as though carving from the primordial stone, each step a tribute to the harmonies of divine inspiration and mortal craft.
